 Essays:

I can’t stop thinking. Always, the ideas swirl around my mind. Provoking me to seek out the words that express them.  Old and new intersect: sometimes in response to life, sometimes in anticipation, and sometimes in sudden comprehension of things I had not yet even imagined. This is my assigned role: to record the feelings in words. For years, I hid behind poetry and fiction. Finally, I found the form to express myself.  The following essays are things that have been on my mind.

Featured essay: "About My Hair."
